Histoy of Big Pal Little Pal

Big Pal Little Pal was started on campus in 1997 as a mentoring program for students to get involved in the community by provide children an after school altertive while learning Christian Values.

Although Big Pal Little Pal didn't get a very good start. The demand was few and members where few. So not alot went on with BPLP.

In 2000 Dr. Kraus, Assistant Professor of Speical Education, became the New Factulity Sponser of Big Pal Little Pal.

Big Pal Little Pal became active again and joined forces with The Boys and Girls Club in aiding the community children. This provided the oppertunity for Big Pal Little Pal to expand because the demand was now out there.

Big Pal Little Pal slowly grew in number through 2004 under the leadership of Shanon T. and Wendy Canterbury.

In 2004 Wendy Graduated and passed the tourch on.

In the Fall of 2005 Michael Jones, took over as President of BPLP. Big Pal Little Pal Program has grown in the number of active members of the program and also seen an increase in the number of children that are now able to be a part of this program

Future Outlook -- Big Pal Little Pal looks to continue to grow and provide an alternive for the children Cleveland, while touching the lives of children and teaching them about the Love of Jesus Christ!
